The Team

Alysia Coates - Founder, Care Dogs & Co. AAlysia Coates is the founder and owner of Care Dogs & Co. She has a background in human resources and is the driving force behind the company. She has personal experience dealing with trauma, which has given her a deep understanding of how clients feel and how Care Dogs & Co can help them. She is the contact person for clients and trainers, and she provides support to our teams whenever necessary. She also provides advice to businesses who want to make customers with assistance dogs more comfortable and enjoyable when visiting.

By using the aid of an Assistance Dog, Care Dogs & Co aims to enhance the independence & wellbeing of our clients by increasing their community & social interaction & confidence and importantly mitigating their disability including but not limited to the following: (Intellectual · Physical · Acquired brain injury · Neurological (including autism, epilepsy and Alzheimer's disease) · Psychiatric (PTSD, schizophrenia, affective disorders, anxiety disorders, addictive behaviors, personality disorders, stress, psychosis, depression and adjustment disorders) commonly referred as psychosocial disability through carefully designed and FULLY supported owner trained Assistance Dog training programs.
